Though American Bar Association does not recommend any under graduation course of any discipline which a student must complete before applying for Law School Admissions but still they have introduced Pre-Law Advisor for students. These advisors will be guiding you for the selection of Law schools for which you must work accordingly.
The skills on which a student is tested in LSAT include your analytic and Problem solving skills in first place. You must look for experiences in solving problems analytically to enhance these skills. Further, the next skills which are tested are Critical Reading skills. You must be able to have a close reading on the given text and analyze the given complex text accurately as reading legal documents is a very essential section for Law studies.
Once you hold a good command on the above mentioned skills, you must now move forward to have an excellent command on your writing skills. Being a lawyer, writing documents and framing them to make a perfect sense are your biggest tool. Apart from writing skills, you must focus on oral communication and listening skills. Your ability to communicate your ideas clearly to others is very essential for you as a lawyer. You must develop your research skills.
