What’s a legal brief? A brief is a written legal document that’s presented to a court disagreeing why the party to the case should overcome. So it can be outlined as a formal legal document that summarises the plain fact, opinion and conclusion of any legal proceeding. The writing should be such it is convincing and exhibits the supremacy of the legal stand / position that’s taken by the customer / counsel. Debates also should be always supported by pictures and other evidences to make the case stronger and credible. The entire brief might be drafted in an argumentative tone. Though the language of the brief should be formal it is usually preferred to use minimum legalese and must be ideally drafted in the active voice.
